this is USB (incorporating genuine FTDI FT232RL chip) to RS232 cable

It performs the same function as the US232R-10 cable from FTDI

It has the same indicator LED which blinks to show transmission, 10cm cable length, same pinout

WE have sold these cables to a number of OEMS and done extensive inhouse testing and they work as expected, and at a much better price.

We still have the US232R with 1Metre cable, this is a slower mover and so once this is sold down we will also likely migrate to the same supplier in the 1Metre version. If you have volumes of 1Metre cable length of 500pcs then we can price it up immediately for you as this is the production MOQ.
