Glyn GFF Cellular (GC864 compatible Module)

Have you been using the GC864-QUAD or UC864-E, UC864-G, UC864-WD series from Telit and found out it is obsolete but need more? If so, we would like to introduce the GFF910 family to you.

Do you have products with these modules inside and want to upgrade them to be 4G (Cat1, Cat 4)/CatM1/NB-IOT compatible without the need to throw away your product and start again. If so, we would like to introduce the GFF910 family to you.

You have found the solution, we sell to customers all over the world and have sold these since 2014. It really is plug and play from hardware side, sure you might need to make a few small changes to the AT command sequencing as the newer technologies have a few different commands but even that is relatively straight forward and something we can help you with.

GFF = Glyn Form Factor

910 = based on the Telit 910 family which means we have options covering 2G, 3G, 4G, Cat M1, and NB-IOT

Is the SIM holder on your base Board (ie not on the GC864 module)? If YES then this module is highly likely a solution for you.

Glyn GFF range is an established form factor for cellular communication that has now expanded to Sigfox and LoRa. This allows you the flexibility to deploy your product when and where needed. Our GFF form factor allows for a carrier board that is plug and play compatible on the 80-way connector – the largest pin-out available in the Glyn line. There are also both UART and USB communication options. With robust connectivity options, the pluggable Glyn Cellular, Sigfox and LoRa modules enable you to have the right connectivity solution for any product application.

* Note that the GFF910 module uses the same 80 pin connector as the now obsolete GC864 series from Telit and GFF910 could be used as a drop in replacement.  However we strongly recommend that the customer should fully test for compatibility before committing to any production.
