Cumulus IoT (Internet of Things) kits include every component and service to evaluate and quickly develop industrial IoT or GSM applications. The terminal is a production ready unit with global network approvals.
Out of the box the Cumulus kit will interact with the Telit m2mAIR Cloud (deviceWISE) by simply connecting the included GPIO PCB, power and the antenna. The modem has pre-installed Python script to demonstrate the GPIO board push button and to interact with deviceWISE.
Further development of the on-board script can be done from the Python source framework with code supplied. Code examples and libraries for several programming languages are also available for developing external host processor applications that connect via the terminal serial ports. A large selection of development tools are available free of charge from the internet.
